Standards for the Protection of Minors at Hotel Krak
(In accordance with the requirements of the Act of July 28, 2023 amending the Family and Guardianship Code and certain other acts):
- Child–Adult Relationship Identification: During check-in, the staff has the right and obligation to verify the child's identity and their relationship to the adult accompanying them to the property (e.g., by presenting the child's ID card, student ID, or birth certificate).
- Parental Consent: In the event that a child is traveling with an individual who is neither a parent nor a legal guardian (e.g., grandparents, aunts/uncles, coaches), the staff may request a written consent form from the parents/legal guardians authorizing the child to travel with that person.
- Response to Potential Threats: In the event of suspected child abuse or if a child is deemed to be at risk, the property staff will immediately initiate the intervention procedures outlined in our internal Standards for the Protection of Minors, which includes notifying the relevant authorities (such as the Police or Family Court).
The full version of the internal Standards for the Protection of Minors procedure is available for inspection at the Property's Front Desk.
